Attachment A <br /> Current employee handbook language, page 27: <br /> Wage and Salary Schedules <br /> The wage and salary schedules and pay plans for positions with the City are <br /> established by resolutions adopted by the City Council and by labor agreements, <br /> approved by the City Council. These resolutions and agreements provide for <br /> wage and salary adjustments for the respective positions covered in them. These <br /> wage and salary schedules and pay plans may be adjusted from time to time to <br /> take into consideration changes in the cost of living as measured by the United <br /> States Department of Labor, market conditions, and valuations of positions. <br /> Attached to this policy is a copy of the appropriate resolutions or labor agreement <br /> which covers your position of employment. <br /> The resolution, or labor agreement, also provides the policy for the administration <br /> of the wage and salary schedules, and pay plans. If an employee has questions <br /> with regard to the applicable wage and salary schedule or pay plan, the <br /> employee may contact the employee's supervisor, the employee's department <br /> head, or the City Administrator. <br />
