The property is located at 3585 County Road No. 6 (6�'Avenue North). It is <br /> the parcel in the southeastern corner of Highway 12 and County Road 6, and a large grey barn is <br /> the only structure left on the lot. I met with both Mike Gaffron and Melanie Curtis of City staff <br /> to discuss the potential of the land, and in the course of discussions the possibility of a park <br /> connection between the City Park to the south, and Regional Park to the north was entertained. <br /> I represent the owners, Ben and Donna Meinhardt, as Power of Attorney and Conservator, and <br /> wanted to give the City a"heads up" that the property would be for sale in the near future. <br /> I have discussed the potential sale with several interested parties, and I am aware that there has <br /> been some review of the potential of the development of the property by at least one other <br /> person. Because Donna is under Hennepin County jurisdiction we will have to provide the <br /> courts with 2 appraisals. Because these are only valid for 6 months, I am waiting until I have <br /> some firm interest until ordering them. If you would like I am available to meet and view the <br /> parcel most any time. <br /> Please let me know what your decision is as soon as possible.
