The system consists of 1-1250, 1-1000 gallon septic <br /> tanks, 1-1250 gallon pumping chamber &286 lin.ft.(858sq.ft. found) of trench system <br /> built in January of 1996 for a 5 bedroom home. <br /> Soil boring #1 found no mottled soil (redox features) to a depth of 6.5' &the bottom of <br /> the rock was found at 2.1' to 2.7 leaving a 4.4' to 3.8' separation from the bottom of the <br /> trench & redox features. Soil boring #2 found mottled soil at 4.8' &the bottom of the <br /> rock at 1.9' to 2.4' leaving a 2.9' & 2.4' separation_ This system is classified as in <br /> Compliance with Minnesota Chapter 7080 rules for systems installed prior to April 1st <br /> 1996. <br /> The tanks were pumped & Certified by Kothrade, Sewer, Water& Excavating. <br /> Soil boring #3 &4 were completed showing an area for an alternate site if needed in <br /> the future. <br /> Nothing other than gray water(laundry, showers, etc.) human waste &toilet tissue <br /> should be disposed of into the septic tanks. Garbage disposals are not recommended, <br /> due to adding more solids &fine solids passing through to the system. Recommend to <br /> divert iron filters out of the system, recommend to divert the water softner also if <br /> diverting the iron filter. Excessive amounts of soaps, antibacterial soaps, cleaning <br /> agents, shower cleaners used every shower& chlorine agents may kill the bacteria <br /> needed to treat septic effluent. Additives are not recommended. Recommend to pump <br /> & clean your tanks through the manhole by a certified pumper every 2 years. Check <br /> with your pumper to set up a schedule. <br /> This Certificate of Compliance is no guarantee that this system will continue to function <br /> indefinitely. <br /> Steven B.
