On November 28, 2014 Andrew Mack issued a septic permit#2014-01243 for a new trench mound <br /> system when actually a new trench mound system wasn't being installed. The documentation with this <br /> permit shows that the drainfield was adequate, but the tanks needed to be replaced. Two 1,000 gallon <br /> tanks were proposed which meets State code, but not Orono's. This permit was voided on 8-13-2015. <br /> See permit#2015-00648. <br /> On May 21, 2015 Lyle Oman issued a septic permit#2015-00648 for tank repair for two, 1,000 gallon <br /> tanks again which meet State code, but non Orono's. <br /> Roger Peitso reviewed the history and decided to grant a variance for the two 1,000 gallon tanks due the <br /> two previous errors by Orono staff. Two 1,000 gallon tanks were installed. The process was inspected <br /> by Roger Peitso with final approval on 7-22-2015. <br />
