Usually has 12 foot sand sideslopes plus about a foot of extended <br /> cover. Thus the total length of a 5 bedroom Mound is about 88'. Hence, a 50 x 100 proposed septic area is big enough <br /> for a 5, up to a 6 bedroom home or Mound. <br /> Establishing 50 x 100 areas of 5000 square feet is the common and accepted method of laying out septic sites for sub- <br /> division purposes throughout Minnesota. I believe this figure is in the 7080 as well?
