Box 66 <br /> Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br /> Phone (952) 249-4600 Fax(952) 249-4616 <br /> NOTICE <br /> The Orono Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Orono Council Chambers at <br /> 2780 Kelley Parkway on TUESDAY, February 18, 2020, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the matter of <br /> reviewing the following land use applications: <br /> LA19-000091 City of Orono, Text Amendment related to Grading and Land Alterations, including <br /> slope failures. <br /> LA19-000100 Tom Ahern, 1345 Rest Point Lane, requests vacation of the 20-foot wide alley right- <br /> of-way abutting his property. <br /> LA19-000103 City of Orono, Text Amendment related to licensing for marinas and Joint Use Docks <br /> and dock permitting. <br /> LA20-000001 Weber Architect & Planners, 2745 Kelley Parkway, requests Master Development <br /> Plan Approval for Orono Apartments, a 56 unit (and 2 guest rooms) apartment <br /> building. <br /> LA20-000005 Will Haack, 2665 Casco Point Road, requests after-the-fact variances for structural <br /> mass changes made to an existing boathouse and hardcover within the average <br /> lakeshore setback and 75-foot setback. <br /> LA20-000007 John Daly, 1030 Tonkawa Road, requests a conditional use permit for plumbing <br /> which includes a shower or bathtub in a new accessory building. <br /> LA20-000008 Hans Frees, 505 Willow Drive South, requests approval for a wetland alteration <br /> permit to create open water space within an existing wetland and an Interim Use <br /> Permit for import/export of material over 500 cubic yards. <br /> All persons wishing to be heard are encouraged to attend these meetings. This is not a final agenda and <br /> is subject to change prior to the hearings. Written comments are accepted and should be submitted to <br /> the City of Orono by February 11, 2020 if possible. Interested persons may review the applications and <br /> proposed ordinance language at City offices or by visiting the City's Website at www.ci.orono.mn.us.
