Brian Fulmer 3507 Wayzata Blvd. Long Lake, Minnesota 55356 Dear Mr.Fulmer: The purpose of this letter is to provide you a description of the costs you will be responsible for before a permit can be issued for your sewer connection. The fees are the Sewer Availability Charge (SAC), all engineering fees for plan review and inspections by the City Engineers, City of Orono staff time, as well as the permit fee. Based on the type and intensity anticipated from your facility, you will be assessed four units. A residence is one unit, while the kennel facility is considered three units. The kennel facility was determined to be three units based on the following fixture information: 104 lineal ft. of floor drain for the holding area; 104 lineal ft. of floor drain for the running area; and 1/2 bath, 2 sinks, 1 bath, and 1 dishwasher. For 1994 each SAC unit is $800.00. The City Engineer and City of Orono staff fees are as follows: Engineer fees - plan review; 3.5 hrs. _ $187.25 City of Orono staff time fees; 4 hrs. _ $120.00 Additional costs may be incurred by the City Engineers before the sewer hookup is completed. These costs would be passed on to you at a later date. All of the charges listed above must be paid at the time a permit is issued for your connection in addition to the $35.50 permit fee.
