0110NO cont
Driveway re-enforcement, 4665 West Branch Rd., Orono MN
The current dirt left shoulder(east side)of the existing driveway is settling out and on more than one
occasion has caused vehicles to go off the driveway during the winter. The overhanging trees on the
right(west side)of the drive also continue to mature and are impeding passage for the garbage pickup
and larger delivery vehicles.
I propose to support the left shoulder of the drive with a single row of small to medium size boulders
which match the current height of the drive. The boulders will be set immediately adjacent to the
existing drive and expand the upper section by approximately 3'for a length of 104'as illustrated in the
attached google earth images. Material matching the current drive will be used to infill the gap between
the existing drive and the new boulder shoulder.
I've also spoken to Michael Olmsted with Hennepin County and have obtained his approval to proceed
without a permit from the County. He let me know that any work done is not interfere with the passage
of a "wing" plow on a county plow truck. He'll also be conducting a site visit prior to any work being
done to ensure compliance from the counties perspective.
As the homeowner I'm applying for the permit so my neighbor and I can complete to proposed work.
Eric Truskoski
4665 West Branch Rd
Orono MN
Phone: 952-472-0748
