1628 <br /> 629 DIVISION 7.-GRADING AND LAND ALTERATIONS <br /> 630 <br /> 631 <br /> 632 Sec.78-1590.-Purpose. <br /> 633 The purpose of this section is to promote the health,safety,and welfare of the community and to <br /> 634 establish reasonable uniform limitations,standards,and controls for land alterations,excavating,filling <br /> 635 and grading within the city.The regulations will allow the city to better manage stormwater discharge, <br /> 636 ensuring drainage does not negatively impact neighboring properties,manage hauling traffic and noise, <br /> 637 and prevent erosion issues onto adjacent properties,wetlands,lakes,and roads.It is the intent that <br /> 638 development conform to the character of the land wherever practical,and the reconfiguration of the land <br /> 639 necessary to support development be kept to the minimum amount necessary. <br /> 640 (Ord.No.219 3rd series,§5, 12-10-2018) <br /> 641 Sec.78-1591.—Information Required.
