We have the following comments with regards to engineering <br /> matters: <br /> • The drainage swale directing runoff to the neighboring property is not acceptable. To <br /> the extent possible, stormwater runoff should be managed to the right of way north and <br /> south of the proposed home. <br /> • The submitted site plan attached to the house plans and dated 2-25-10 shows <br /> significantly different grading at the west side of the proposed house. The survey plan or <br /> site plan should be updated to match. <br /> • The survey plan notes that the western driveway will be abandoned with the project. <br /> This should be confirmed and clearly shown on the plan. <br /> • A field review shows the possibility of a wetland located within the southeast area of the <br /> property that would trigger the wetland ordinance. The wetland and buffer will need to <br /> be shown on the plans. <br /> • This project will disturb more than 100 CY of material. Sediment and erosion control <br /> information meeting the requirements of Orono's City Code 79-7(c)(2) must be <br /> submitted.
