11/07/2011 15: 03 9524738080 DALBEC ROOFING PAGE 03/03 <br /> IDDALBEC <br /> ROOFING <br /> Scope of Work for Roofing at: <br /> 2350 Wayzata Boulevard <br /> Orono, MN <br /> Roof Section#2-Upper Office Roof <br /> We propose to furnish the necessary labor, material and equipment required to do the reroofing <br /> above named project as follows: <br /> Ballasted EPDM with a Partial Tear-Off <br /> DEMOLITION <br /> • Vacuum existing gravel and dispose of. <br /> • Remove the existing membrane and membrane flashings and dispose of. <br /> • Remove the existing sheet metal coping and dispose of. <br /> • Remove all deleted and abandoned curbs. Building owner to decide which penetrations, <br /> if any, are removed. <br /> WOOD BLOCKING <br /> • Supply and install a 6"x 6" wood cant on existing wood blocking on perimeter. <br /> INSULATION <br /> • Insert tapered crickets between drains to help alleviate some of the evidence of ponding <br /> water that has occurred. <br /> ROOFING <br /> • Supply and loose lay a 60 mil LPUM membrane over insulation. <br /> • At all horizontal to vertical transitions supply and install a reinforced perimeter fastening <br /> strip. <br /> • Supply and install 60 mil EPDM membrane flashings up and over the canted parapet. At <br /> roof to wall conditions extend EPDM flashings up approximately 12"and adhere to <br /> substrate utilizing neoprene based bonding adhesive. <br /> • Supply and install flashings at all pipe penetrations utilizing pre-fabricated methods. If <br /> pre-fabricated methods cannot be used, we will utilize field fabricated methods. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS <br /> • Supply and install river rock ballast at a rate of 10 lbs. per square foot. <br /> • Supply and install 2' x 2' x 2" pavers at two sides of the roof hatch and at the five (5) <br /> HVAC units. <br /> SHEET METAL <br /> • Supply and install new 24 ga. prefinished sheet metal to include: canted edge and fascia <br /> with cover plates,4 spill out scuppers and counter flashings. <br /> 2285 Daniels Street ■ Long Lake, MN 55356 ■ Phone: (952)473-8080 • Fax: (952)473-0805 <br />
