Sketch (or survey)of the site,including all of the following:✓ Placement of Proposed Sign(s) <br /> ✓ North Direction&Scale ✓ Street Names p <br /> ✓ Location of Structures on ✓ Amount of ✓ Existing Sign Inventory(Location <br /> the Lot(&Dimensions) Road Frontage &: Size of Existing Signs) <br /> 78-1466(8) Temporary signs. <br /> a, There shall be no more than four temporary business signs issued per calendar year,and for a period of not more than ten days per <br /> time or of the duration of the event promoted by the sign message,whichever is less.The sign(including banners or balloons),sign supports or <br /> portable stand shall be removed from public view at the cod of the period.Total area of the sign shall not exceed 32 square feet per surface(61 <br /> square feet total signage allowed for twcesided portable sign).Advertising balloons are not subject to area restrictions but must meet all <br /> applicable federal and state standards. <br /> b. There shall be no more than one temporary sign in any required yard area,and.if separate multiple signs arc proposed,the total arca <br /> of the signs shall not exceed 32 square feet.Temporary business signs require a building permit from the city.No such permit shall be issued by <br /> the city if a conditional use permit under section 78-1467(1)e has been issued ton residential property.No temporary sign shall be allowed in <br /> residential zones unless permitted as election or sale signs under this section.Multitenant buildings be considered as a single property for <br /> purposes of subsection(8)of this section;and the use of the single temporary business sign by tenure;on the property shall be the responsibility <br /> of the properly owner or designated manager,who shall endorse in writing all applications for sign permits. <br /> c, The owner or manager of the sign and the owner of the tone etty shall be equally responsible for the proper location,maintenance and <br /> removal of the sign.All temporary signs shall be located on a property so that they do not impede safety by obstructing vision of pedestrians or <br /> motor vehicle ops atom's, <br /> Sec.78-1468.Signs in B and I districts. <br /> Within the B and 1 districts,nameplate signs and business signs are permitted subject to the following regulations: <br /> (1) 8-1.13-2 and B-4:size.Within the B-I,B-2 and B-4 districts,the aggregate,square footage of sign space per lot shall not <br /> exceed the sum of one square foot for each bort foot of building,plus one square foot for each filet foot of lot riot occupied by a building.No <br /> individual sign shall exceed 50 square feet, <br /> (2) 133:size.Within the B-3 district,the aggregate square footage of sign space per lot shall not exceed the sum of four square <br /> feet per front foot of building plus one square foot per front foot of property not occupied by a building.No individual sign surface shall exceed <br /> 100 square fest <br /> (3) 1;size.Within any 1 district the aggregate square footage of sign space per lot shall not exceed the sum of four square feet <br /> per front foot of building,plus one square foot per front foot of property not occupied by a building,.No individual sign surface shall exceed 100 <br /> square feet. <br /> (4) B-1,B-2 and 13-4:height Within the B-1.B-2 and B-4 districts,no sign shall extend in height more than two feet above the <br /> highest outside wall or parapet of any principal building,nor shall any sign be located closer than ton feet from any property line:except that any <br /> sign over ten square feet may project two feet into any required yard area from the principal building. <br /> (S) 13-3 and T:height.Within any 11-3 or I district,no sign shall extend in height more than six feet in height above the highest <br /> outside wall or parapet of any principal building.No sign shall be located closer than ten feet from any piuperty line,except that any sign <br /> exceeding ten square feet may project only two feet into the yard area from any building. <br /> (Code 1984.§ 10,61(3)) <br /> Please Note: This is only an application for a permit.
