MINUTES OF THE CITY OF ORONO <br /> PARKS, OPEN SPACES AND TRAILS COMMISSION MEETING <br /> MONDAY,AUGUST 7,2000 <br /> (#16) NEW PARK IN NAVARRE <br /> McDermott commented a potential name for the Navarre Park would be Langdon Park. <br /> OTHER ISSUES <br /> Halvorson noted the Cities of Shorewood and Plymouth have banned the use of phosphorus. <br /> Gappa stated the City's stormwater management plan does recommend that phosphorus not be <br /> used but noted no formal action has been taken. <br /> Silber stated phosphorus is not needed in this area. <br /> Meyers stated in his view the City should recommend to the local retailers to sell phosphorus-free <br /> fertilizer.
