� • <br /> MINLITSS OF THE REGULAR ORONO PARR COMMISSION MEETING <br /> HELD NOVEMBER 5, 1990 <br /> BIRE/HIR13 TRAILS REPORT - <br /> Dick Flint reported to the Commission that the City Council <br /> had voted in favor of the developer on the Fullerton property <br /> bike/hike trail easement restriction. Orono cannot start work on <br /> the trail until it connects to something. The Commission is <br /> interested in pursuing the trail to the school. A motion was <br /> made that the Park Commission requst an easement across the <br /> property between Willow Road and Old Crystal Bay Road south of <br /> County Road 6. The motion was seconded. Ayes 6, nays 0. <br /> PARR DEDICATION FEES - Wildhurst Estate and Lafayette Marsh <br /> Steve Weckman presented to the Commission the Park Fee <br /> calculations for Wildhurst Estate and Lafayette Marsh. Commisson <br /> members discussed the appropriateness of bike/hike easements on <br /> these properties. After consideration it was decided to accept <br /> the Park Dedication Fees. <br /> J13T SRI ORDINANCE - <br /> The Long Lake Jet Ski Ordinance was reviewed and the <br /> Commission recommended the adoption of the ordinance relating to <br /> the use of personal watercraft as approved by Long Lake. <br /> SRAT13 BOARD/ROLLER SRI ORDINANCE - <br /> The Park Commission took no action as they felt they were <br /> not the proper channel for these decisions. <br /> 1991 MEETINGS - <br /> The first Monday night of the month was selected as our <br /> meeting night from January through April 1991. We will meet the <br /> first Tuesday night from May through December 1991. <br /> COMMUNITY EDOCATION JOINT MEETINGS - <br /> The first joint meeting of the Park Commission included in <br /> the Orono School District was chaired by Toni Bergland, Community <br /> Education Director. It was attended by several Orono Park <br /> Commission Members. The following meetings of this group will be <br /> attended by just two members of each Park Commission to make the <br /> exchange of information easier. The Orono representatives are <br /> Jim Gilbert and Lester Kelley. <br /> ADJOURNMENT 10:30 P.M. <br /> The regular Park Commission meeting was adjourned at10:30 <br /> p.m. The next meeting will be Tuesday, December 4, 1990 at 7:00 <br /> p.m. <br /> 3 <br />
