Metropolitan Council
Environmental Services
December 13, 2007
Lyle Oman
Building Administrator
City of Orono
P.O.Box 66
Crystal Bay, MN 55323-0066
Dear Mr. Oman:
The Metropolitan Council Environmental Services(MCES) Division has reviewed the SAC assignment
for the Amber Woods Office Centre—Building 2. The original letter for this determination was dated
December 12th, letter reference 071212A2. This project is located at 2060 W. Wayzata Blvd, Suites 200
&250 within the City of Orono.
This project should be charged 3 SAC Units, instead of the 5 units originally assigned. The SAC review
is based on updated information. The Council understands this building is speculative office. This
determination follows:
SAC Units
Charges:
Office(speculative)
6036 sq. ft. @ 2400 sq. ft./SAC Unit 2.52 or 3
It is the Council's understanding that only buildings 1 and 2 will be built at this time. At such time
buildings 3,4 and 5 are built SAC determinations need to be completed.
At the time the finishing permits are issued, if the use changes from the speculative use to a different use,
then the SAC assignment needs to be reviewed based on that change. The business information was
provided to MCES by the applicant at this time. It is the City's responsibility to substantiate the business
use and size at the time of the final inspection. If there is a change in use or size, a redetermination will
need to be made. If you have any questions, call me at 651-602-1378.
Sincerely,
IL'A4-,--R4
Jessie Nye
SAC Technician
Environmental Services Division
JN:kb: 071213A2
cc: S.
