Page 2 <br /> . <br /> Tomlinson was unable to attend tonight ' s SKI SCHOOL <br /> meeting and asked that Commission membPrs <br /> be aware that he is meeting Friday, July <br /> 11, 1980 with Dick Benson and Bill Reese <br /> to discuss the proposed Ski School that <br /> would begin this winter. . <br /> Nembers present were shown the Park MEMBERS SEE PARK <br /> survey results and the following SURVEY RESULTS <br /> comments are noted: <br /> l. A compliation of residents personal comments. <br /> 2 . A listing of high priority facilities. <br /> 3. Actual precentage of those against tax increase <br /> for recreational purposes. <br /> 4 . Plan action as a result of survey. <br /> The park commission will continue to NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS <br /> focus our attention on neighborhood <br /> parks. Watson will check on the <br /> status of the park at Pdinnetonka Art <br /> Center. Due to the density in this <br /> area, the soccer goals that were re- <br /> moved should be replaced. Peterson <br /> suggested that local citizens would <br /> be willing to make soccer nets. <br /> Peterson stated that a lot on Arbor <br /> and Minnetonka Avenue has been vacant <br /> for a number of years and hopefully <br /> this lot could be used as a playground <br /> area in the future. <br /> The status of Summit Park was raised <br /> and perhaps some information will be <br /> made available at next month' s meet- <br /> ing. • <br /> Comprehensive Plan Guides were passed <br /> out to all Park Commission members. <br /> Meeting Adjourned, ADJOURNMENT <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> c � � � -�-�� <br /> , <br /> J. iann Goetten, retary <br />
