Approval is contingent upon meeting the requirement(s) <br /> listed below. A copy of the approved plans and this report must be retained at the project location. <br /> INSPECTIONS: All plumbing installations must be tested and inspected in accordance with the requirements of <br /> the Minnesota Plumbing Code. No plumbing work may be covered prior to inspection. The contractor/installer <br /> must obtain all required inspection permits from the city of Orono Building Official. <br /> REQUIREMENT(S): <br /> 1. All plumbing shall be installed in accordance with the Minnesota Plumbing Code (see Minnesota Rules, <br /> Chapter 4714). <br /> 2. Verify that the existing water supply and waste systems are sized to accommodate the added fixtures(see <br /> Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4714, Sections 610.7 through 610.12 and 703.0). <br /> 3. The tell-tale floor drains are shown without individual vents. Floor drains must be individually vented(see <br /> Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4714, Sections 418.2 and 1002.1). The trap to vent distance must meet the <br /> requirements of Table 1002.2. Please verify the two tell-tale floor drains are served by individual vents. <br /> 4. Vents serving floor drains must rise within 45 degrees of the vertical at least 6 inches above the floor before <br /> offsetting horizontally(see Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4714, Section 905.3). <br /> 5. Pot or scullery sinks must be provided with waste outlets not less than 2 inches in diameter(see Minnesota <br /> Rules, Chapter 4714, Section 420.3). <br /> 6. The water distribution system shall be disinfected per Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4714, Section 609.9. <br /> 7. The plumbing system shall be tested in accordance with Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4714, Sections 609.4, <br /> 712.0, and 1109.0. <br /> 8. It is recommended that a cleanout be provided where new waste and vent piping connects with existing <br /> plumbing to facilitate required testing of the new installation. <br /> 9. A cleanout must be installed where there is an increase in pipe size from 2 inches to 3 inches and from <br /> 3 inches to 4 inches(see Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4714,Table 707.1). <br /> 10.
