The applicant stated at the meeting the lighting was scheduled to be replaced,but had not been completed by the meeting date. Since the November meeting the lighting has now been replaced and is in conformance with the requirements of approval of the canopy and Municipal Code. Mr. Wear's application to the City of Orono is for a variance to permit total signage of 380 s.f. on the property where 100 s.f.is permitted. The Planning Commission reviewed a comprehensive sign plan for the property that would permit 180 s.f. of building signage, 141 s.f. of signage for the existing twin pole pylon on the west side of the property and 59 s.f.of signage for a new conoco logo sign on the east side of the property. The building signage includes two 2.5' x 8' conoco logos that would be located on the east and west sides of the canopy.
