After viewing the cedar shake <br /> locations which exhibit silicone and other waterproof caulk, he informed me that none of it had been <br /> applied during the roofs installation(ref. my letter dated 05, Aug. '93). He also told me that a portion of <br /> it had been applied by them,at your request,after a leak had developed. <br /> In addition, there is one area which is covered with what appears to be white or gray asphalt caulking <br /> compound; something which he is sure was not applied by the builder at any time. <br /> At this time I want to remind you that the thirty day period before we begin arbitration expires August 30, <br /> 1993;and you have yet to address the problems with the septic field. <br /> Si 11 <br /> `ice <br /> ohn F.
