Planning & Zoning Administrator <br /> Date: October 9, 1995 <br /> Subject: Zoning History, "4520" Watertown Road (Vacant Parcel) <br /> This property was not zoned by the City until March 11, 1957 at which time it became part of <br /> the "Residual District" containing all properties not previously zoned. This area was <br /> designated as private residential with with no limitation on lot size or width. <br /> Ordinance #22 on October 12, 1959 established a minimum building lot size of one acre, 140' <br /> minimum width at the building line. <br /> This property was part of a citywide zoning re-designation on September 14, 1967, and <br /> became part of the R-1C Single Family Residential Zone requiring one acre and 140' width. <br /> Effective January 1, 1975, the northwest portion of the City, including this parcel, was <br /> rezoned to RR-1A, Single Family Rural Residential, requiring 5-acre minimum dry buildable <br /> lot area and 300' minimum width. The RR-1A zoning is currently in effect. <br />
