I know you are very familiar with our permitting process and
just wanted to confirm what materials we would need for a complete application.
Would you be able to:
f'
Confirm on cross-sections that riprap is at a 3:1 slope
Confirm on riprap toe detail that bolder is maximum 30"in diameter
Confirm on riprap toe detail that granular filter is MnDOT type 3601
Confirm on riprap toe detail that geotextile filter fabric is in place is type 3733
Identify erosion control/floating silt curtain location on site plan
Identify the proposed access route for land plantings/indicate if there will be a barge
identify location of any material stockpiles
fir From the cross-sections provided,it looks like the 6"of top soil is placed above the 100 year elevation, if that changes,
let me know so that we can issue a fast-track floodplain permit as well
9) It was suggested that doing live stakings directly into the cliff might help with stabilization;can you submit a drawing
of this and quantify any proposed earthwork to determine if an erosion control permit should be included as well?
Tory Christensen and MCWD are working on a plant list and maintenance plan that can also be submitted as updated
attachments.
Thank you,Tom. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Rachel Workin
Permitting Technician
Minnehaha Creek Watershed District
15320 Minnetonka Boulevard,Minnetonka,MN 55345
952.641.4518
www.minnehahacreek.ora R.
eceived
JUL 2 8 2016
By
