USE OF "POC" FIREFIGHTERS <br />Pros <br />• Not that expensive when using POC <br />FF at $10.50 per hour <br />• Should be able perform more <br />inspections, re -inspections ... <br />• Already being used for fire <br />prevention education <br />• Ability to generate some revenue if <br />fee schedule is implemented <br />• Could be a job responsibility of the <br />"Duty Crew" response model <br />Cons <br />• Difficult to maintain consistency of <br />inspections and re -inspections <br />• Time of our POC FF is already <br />stretched thin <br />• Are LLFD firefighters interested <br />• Training is extra time and money <br />
