This application is regarding variances to redevelop a nonconforming lot on Crystal <br />Bay Road. <br /> <br />2. MN§15.99 Application Deadline. The application was considered to be complete on <br />September 3rd. The initial 60-Day review period has been extended and expires on January 1, <br />2020. <br /> <br />3. Background/ Summary. The applicant is requesting a number of variance approvals in <br />conjunction with redevelopment of the property. The City Council reviewed this application at <br />meetings on October 14th, and October 28th. At the October 28th meeting staff was directed to <br />draft an approval resolution for consideration based on the structural coverage level of 26.9%. <br /> <br />4. Public Comment. Comments from the neighbors were received and are incorporated by <br />reference. <br /> <br />5. Staff Recommendation. Staff has drafted an approval resolution including all of the requested <br />variances based on the applicant’s revised structural coverage level of 26.9%. Staff recommends <br />approval. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Council should consider adopting or amending the resolution granting lot area, hardcover, structural <br />coverage, setback variances, and an interim use permit to develop the property. <br /> <br />Exhibits <br />A.
