The purpose of this action item is to gain approval to hire a full-time police officer. An <br />opening exists for a full-time police officer after Josh Needham resigned on October 11, 2019. <br /> <br />2. Background. Aleah Lange is currently working as a part-time police officer. Aleah has worked with <br />the Orono Police Department since September 2018. Aleah is excited about the opportunity to work full- <br />time for the Orono Police Department. <br /> <br />3. Staff Recommendation.
