The <br /> project site is in the sW 1/4 SW 1/4 Sec. 32, T. 118 N., R. 23 W. , Hennepin <br /> County, Minnesota. <br /> Because this work is part of a continuing or seasonal excavation, a <br /> Department of the Army permit is not required to do this work, provided that <br /> the work is completed by September 24, 1994. You should submit a permit <br /> application if you wish to continue excavating in this area after that date. <br /> Because it appears that the excavation site is historically adjacent to Lake <br /> Minnetonka, you would need to gptain an individual Department of the Army <br /> permit to continue working at this site under the current rules. (An <br /> application is enclosed. Note that many nearby sites, that are part of <br /> smaller drainage systems, are covered by nationwide general permits that could <br /> expedite our approval of such a project. In addition, we are working on <br /> regional general permits that may simplify our review of such projects, even <br /> at your current site.
