The purpose of this action item is to gain approval to accept a donation from the residents <br />of Pelican Point (Mound). <br /> <br />2. Background. The Police Department has received a Streicher’s gift card in the amount of $1340.00 <br />and a check in the amount of $15.00. The residents would like to thank the officers for attending the <br />Pelican Point National Night Out event and greatly appreciate the dedication and all the great work done <br />by the Orono Police Department. <br /> <br />3. Project Scope. Apply the Streicher’s gift card and check in the amount of $1355.00 towards the <br />purchase of uniforms and equipment needed for the Orono Police Reserve program. <br /> <br /> <br />4. Staff Recommendation.
