Hand drawn copies are not <br /> sufficient. <br /> • The survey should indicate top and bottom of wall elevations and how the elevations will be tied into the <br /> existing grade. <br /> • The details provided show each tier of the wall to be at 4' in height, but only show a separation of 4'. Tiered <br /> walls need to be separated by 2x the height or an 8' minimum separation. The separation will be measured <br /> from the back of the lower wall to the face of the upper wall. <br /> • Also each wall is shown to be 4' in height. I will be performing an on-site inspection of the walls as part of the <br /> final review. If either of the walls exceed 4' in height or if the separation (as defined above) is not separated by <br /> 2x the height(min),then the applicant will be required to provide engineered plans signed by a registered <br /> professional engineer. <br /> Please contact me with any questions or concerns. <br />
