1
Christine Mattson
From: Christine Mattson
Sent: Tuesday, August 14, 2012 11:29 AM
To: 'Rick Riley'
Cc: Dan McNosky; Mike Dyer; cpladsonjr@aol.com
Subject: RE: 4115 Watertown Rd
Attachments: Building Permit Application Packet for New Structures or Additions.pdf
Hi Rick,
The building permit application should be completed by the company constructing the retaining walls. There
was no contact information on the paperwork I received; therefore I sent it to you as you are the last contractor
contact we have on file for this property. I apologize for my assumption.
We received the engineered plans for the walls on August 8. Attached is a building permit application. A
buildingpermit is required rather than a zoning permit as I previously stated as the walls are require an
engineer's design and review.
Please have a representative from the company constructing the retaining walls complete the application. It
must be submitted with 2 copies of an updated survey showing the proposed walls, noting top and bottom of
walls as well as existing and proposed grades. Our engineer will review and provide any comments, if
necessary. Building permit costs are based on the estimated construction value. An advance plan review fee
will be required when the application is dropped off. For an estimate of the advance plan review fee, please
call our main office at 952-249-4600.
Thank you.
Christine
From: Rick Riley [mailto:RickRiley@Sawhorseusa.com]
Sent: Monday, August 13, 2012 1:27 PM
To: Christine Mattson
Cc: Dan McNosky; Mike Dyer; cpladsonjr@aol.com
Subject: RE: 4115 Watertown Rd
Ms. Mattson,
we assumed that we could ask for a"modification to the prnnnccfl nrnr inn ninn" nnri wni ild not have to nrocess through
another permit process and involve the surveyor....etc.. l 1 _ nd the owner
has expressed and interest in being able to readily acces V) th out concern
for the slope, thus the need for the retaining wall work.....
