Submit a declaration for the preservation.of wetland buffers <br /> Background: <br /> The applicant is proposing to excavate 1500 square feet of a Type II wetland for the purposes of <br /> creating a pond for.wildlife enhancement. An additional 1500 square feet will be excavated in <br /> an area adjacent to,but outside the wetland boundary. The pond will be constructed in <br /> accordance with MCWD Rules and spoils will spread throughout an upland area and restored <br /> with native vegetation. <br /> Rule B <br /> Erosion control consisting of silt fence has been provided throughout the site. <br /> Rule b: <br /> As stated above,the pond will be constructed in accordance with MCWD Rule D and occupy an <br /> .area of 3000 square feet. The pond will contain 3:1 slopes, anundulating bottom, and have a <br /> maximum-depth of five'feet.
