I'm
not sure if I sent this to you yet or not, but they are contained here below. They do not require further changes to your
plans. We have also reviewed and approved the house plans for construction. At this point, all we're waiting on now for
approval of the permit is the signed escrow agreement from the Nyquist's, the MCWD erosion control permit, and
payment of fees which can be done when you pick up the permit.
_ Andrew Mack, AICP
'`'^' Community Development Director
i t : City of Orono Minnesota
T Direct 952.249.4626
-,:-..L ," amacka.ci.orono.mn.us
www.ci.orono.mn.us
1. The silt fence location should be revised to be immediately down gradient from all proposed grading. The silt
fence should be installed and inspected by the City prior to any land disturbing activities. The Contractor must
provide a minimum 24 hour notice prior to inspection.
2. Protection fencing should be placed around the proposed and alternate septic sites to ensure they are not
impacted during home construction.
3. A financial security of$2,500 from the Applicant is recommended for erosion control and engineering oversight.
The financial security is intended to provide protection in the event that it becomes necessary for the City to
install or maintain erosion and sediment control within the project area and covers the cost of vegetation re-
establishment if the applicant is unable to follow through with the conditions of approval.
4. The applicant may be required to obtain Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) approval and permitting
for their Erosion Control rule. A copy of any approved permit or confirmation that no permit is required should
be submitted prior to any land altering activities.
From: Andrew Mack
Sent: Wednesday, December 03, 2014 5:16 PM
To: 'jeremy@gordon-james.com'
Cc: Christine Mattson
Subject: FW: Nyquist Permit Application
Jeremy,
I lead the city's review on this application and yes I received all the information in from Gronberg yesterday as required.
The defined building height is now below the maximum with the revised survey data. The application is now in queue for
engineering review and building plan reviews.
Not foreseeing any further issues, we should have the review wrapped up within the next week or so and ready for permit
issuance once the escrow agreement is executed and we receive the MCWD permit approval.
Andrew Mack, AICP
1.4-1: Community Development Director
144.
I City of Orono Minnesota
\-
/ Direct 952.249.4626
`a .,.-: amack@ci.orono.mn.us
www.ci.orono.mn.us
1
