No. 17-117-23 43 0001 <br /> Dear Mr. Williams: <br /> In response to your letter of May 16, 1989 , the correct <br /> sewer connection charge for the above referenced property, has <br /> i been calculated as follows: <br /> 1. 137.85 front feet x $28.68 per front foot = $3 , 953.54. <br /> 2 . Sewer plant charge of $225. 00 x 1 unit = $225 . 00 . <br /> 3 . Total connection charge = $ 3 , 953.54 + $ 225. 00 = <br /> $4 ,178.54. (This figure is correct thru December 31, 1989. <br /> The connection charge would be expected to increase in 1990 <br /> - and each successive year to account for inflation. ) The <br /> connection charge would be collected when a building permit <br /> is issued. <br /> As we have discussed, it would be the property owner's <br /> responsibility to make the actual physical connection to the <br /> sewer system, and pay all costs involved with such connection. <br /> The property owner would be responsible for obtaining any <br /> necessary permits from Hennepin County for work in the County <br /> Road 19 right-of-way. <br /> For the record, additional charges that would be incurred <br /> with a building permit would include the normal building permit <br /> and plan review fees, in addition to a park fee of $390.00 based <br /> on a lot size of 0.34 acre. Also, the Metro Waste Control <br /> Commission (MWCC) Sewer Availability Charge, currently $575.00, <br /> would be charged with the building permit. <br /> For your information, I have enclosed copies of Hennepin <br /> County tax records and a plat map section used in my approximate <br /> lot area calculation.
