The triangular land portion of the property that is surrounded by the Kosek's yard is the only <br /> portion that must have grass and weeds maintained at a height of not more than 6 inches. <br /> This area must be maintained because it has historically been maintained as yard area, and <br /> lack of such maintenance is a nuisance to the Kosek's. Further,the property is not in one of <br /> the zoning categories exempted from such requirements. <br /> 2. We are unaware of any other property in Orono for which the requirements of 9.55 Subd. 2 <br /> have been enforced yet which has no means of access except by water. Because enforcement <br /> of this requirement would place an undue burden on you, it will only be enforced if you are <br /> able to gain access over the Kosek's property. If the Kosek's refuse you access for mowing, <br /> we will not enforce the mowing requirement. <br /> We believe this solution is fair to both parties and hopefully will resolve the matter.
