Mark and Kristen Anderson
May 25, 2006
Page 4
This letter will serve as your notice that in order to avoid legal action by the City you must
do the following within ten days of your receipt of this letter:
1. Remove the ponies from the property and not return them or bring any other horses to
the property until you have received a conditional use permit and satisfied the conditions
of the permit.
2. Erect silt fence around all disturbed and/or portions of your property without ground
cover.
and further, by Noon on June 21 you must:
1. Seed and mulch, sod, or otherwise establish ground cover on the slope from your
house to the north property line that appears to be at final grade.
2. Make application for a land alteration permit OR restore the disturbed area to its
original grades and begin to re-establish ground cover.
You may find the application for a land alteration permit on the City's website or you can obtain
one at City offices on Kelly Parkway. If you have any questions call me at 952-249-4623.
If you wish to return the ponies to the property, you will also find an application for a conditional
use permit at the City's website. But please contact me before you begin to fill out the
application so I can let you know the specific information that will be required. I must also tell
you that City Staff will not recommend approval of a conditional use permit for horses on the
property.
Sincerely,'
Evelyn Turner
City Planner
CERTIFIED MAIL 7002 0510 001 6306 1572
Also sent by regular mail.
