CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL] <br /> yF G` NO. + 0 18 <br /> slio t. <br /> Lake Road; thence Southeasterly along said road to the East line of said Southeast Quarter <br /> of the Southwest Quarter(SE1/4 of SW1/4);thence North to the point of beginning. <br /> Abstract Property <br /> Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter the"Property"); <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> conditional use permit pursuant to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-418 in order to <br /> construct two new maintenance and storage buildings serving the golf course use; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has made application to the City of Orono for <br /> variances to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-418 and 78-1434 in order to construct an <br /> 8,000 square foot cold storage building on the north side of the Luce Line trail 30 feet from the <br /> south property line where a 50 foot setback is required; and a 9,111 square foot building on the <br /> south side of the Luce Line trail 19 feet from the north property line, and 10 feet from the west <br /> property line where 50 foot setbacks are required; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has made application to the City of Orono for <br /> variances to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1403 to permit the accessory buildings <br /> on the property to exceed the maximum aggregate size limitation of 8,000 square feet; exceed <br /> the limit of one oversize accessory building; as well as the individual accessory building size <br /> limit for the Property; <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> conditional use permit pursuant to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-418 to make <br /> modifications to the existing site plan relating to the golf course use including parking lots and <br /> buildings; and <br /> WHEREAS, on August 19. 2019, after published and mailed notice in accordance <br /> with Minnesota Statutes and the City Code, the Planning Commission held a public hearing, at <br /> which time all persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the <br /> opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, on August 19, 2019, the Planning Commission recommended <br /> approval of the conditional use permit and variances; and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 9, 2019, the City Council reviewed the application <br /> and the recommendations of the Planning Commission and City staff; and <br /> 2 <br />
