Purpose: To publish Requests for Proposals for Professional Legal Services in accordance <br />with the RFP schedule adopted by Resolution No. 6585 adopted February 8, 2016. <br />2. Background: The City Council adopted a resolution to establish a schedule of 5 year reviews <br />through the RFP process for professional services contracted by the City. Staff reviews the <br />document annually for any scheduled RFP's. The civil attorney schedule is for 2019 and was last <br />published in 2005. This RFP is in accordance with the previously adopted schedule. The timeline <br />for publication, review and selection is within Exhibit A: Request for Proposal: Professional <br />Legal Services. <br />3. Staff Recommendation: City Administrator recommends approval of the Professional <br />Legal Services RFP and to establish an ad-hoc Professional Legal Services RFP review <br />committee. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to Approve Request for proposals for Professional Legal Services and the appointment of <br />an ad-hoc Professional Legal Services RFP review committee. <br />Exhibits <br />A.
