CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />041 <br />WHEREAS, on May 23, 2019 the Metropolitan Council indicated to the City via letter <br />authorizing the 2020-2040 Comprehensive Plan be into effect. This action requires formal <br />resolution of the city Council <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Orono, Minnesota <br />hereby formally adopts the 2020-2040 City of Orono Community Management Plan as approved by the <br />Metropolitan Council, as the City's official comprehensive municipal plan pursuant to Minnesota Statutes <br />Section 462.355. This Plan shall also be cited as the Community Management Plan or CMP. The intents, <br />purposes, and policies of the CMP shall be implements by the ordinances of the City, which ordinances <br />shall hereafter be amended as necessary to be in conformance with the objectives of this Plan. The CMP <br />may from time to time be amended by resolution of the City Council, following a public hearing.
