The driveway to serve Lot 1 requires the construction of a creek <br /> crossing and culvert installation. The creek crossing results in some wetland impacts and mitigation will be <br /> necessary. We have the following comments in regards to engineering matters. <br /> • The proposed culvert size appears to be acceptable however we recommend the culvert be an arch RCP so <br /> as to reduce the overall height of the structure. <br /> • The low point on the driveway at the creek crossing should be lowered from 973.0 to 972.0 to provide <br /> adequate freeboard for the home on Lot 1. <br /> • Plans should be submitted to the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District for review and approval. <br /> • Final plans should include plan and profile views of the driveway from Watertown Road to the proposed <br /> home site on Lot 1. The finished driveway should be paved and the plans should include a typical <br /> driveway section. Driveway grades should not exceed 10%at any location. <br /> • Plans should include storm water treatment provisions.
