Following are my comments for your consideration: <br /> 1. Siltfence should be indicated down gradient from the proposed work. The siltfence should be installed by the <br /> contractor and inspected by the City prior to any work. The contractor must provide minimum 24 hour notice <br /> prior to inspection. <br /> 2. A financial security of$2,500 from the Applicant is recommended for erosion control and engineering oversight. <br /> The financial security is intended to provide protection in the event that it becomes necessary for the City to <br /> install or maintain erosion and sediment control within the project area and covers the cost of vegetation re- <br /> establishment if the applicant is unable to follow through with the conditions of approval. <br /> 3. The applicant may be required to obtain Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD)approval and permitting <br /> for their Erosion Control Rule.
