I 7 <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1998 <br /> (#2410 Peter Boynton, continued) <br /> Van Zomeren stated the elevation height at the peak of the house is 985 feet. <br /> Boynton remarked if the house is built further back, it will require more excavation. <br /> Chair Smith commented if the structure is moved back, it will eliminate some of the variances for <br /> the setbacks. <br /> Mortenson stated if the house is moved further back, he will not have a problem with the height of <br /> the structure. <br /> Kathy Lee, neighbor, stated she is not opposed to moving the structure further back. <br /> Van Zomeren commented she was unsure whether the present garage foundation was adequate to <br /> build on. <br /> Boynton stated he is agreeable to moving the structure back. <br /> Hawn stated she would not be in favor of granting a variance to the structural coverage. <br /> Lindquist commented the height and structural coverage of the building need to be addressed <br /> further. <br /> Stoddard stated he was in agreement that the structural coverage and height of the building should <br /> Sbe addressed. <br /> Chair Smith recommended tabling the application to allow the Applicant time to submit revised <br /> plans. <br /> Schroeder stated structural coverage should be limited to the allowable limit. <br /> Lindquist moved, Hawn seconded, to table Application #2410, 1973 Fagerness Point Road, <br /> to allow the Applicant time to submit revised plans.
