ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR OCTOBER 16, 1995 <br />• <br />ROLL <br />The Orono Planning Commission met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Chair Stephen Peterson, Dale Lindquist, Janice Berg, Elizabeth Hawn, Charles <br />Schroeder, who arrived after Items #1 and 3 were discussed and Item #6 was tabled. <br />Candace Rowlette and Sandra Smith were absent. The following represented the City <br />Staff: Building and Zoning Administrator Jeanne Mabusth, Assistant Planning and Zoning <br />Administrator Michael Gaffron and Recorder Sherry Frost. Mayor Callahan and Council <br />Member Goetten were present. Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />( #1) #2076 ROBERT ROBERTSON AND WELDON H. DUNN, 3535/3565 <br />WATERTOWN ROAD - SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT, <br />CLASS I - PUBLIC HEARING 7 :01 -7:04 P.M. <br />The Certificate of Mailing and Affidavit of Publication were noted. <br />The Applicants were present. <br />Mabusth reported that the application is for a subdivision of a lot line rearrangement for a <br />division of a smaller parcel. The parcel to the east is less than the required 2 acres with <br />the wetland with a slight encroachment into parcel B. Parcel A will be 2 acres and parcel <br />B will remain at 3 acres. There would be no encroachment of the septic site areas. The <br />division line follows a fence and along a natural division created by higher elevations. A <br />dedication of right -of -way via quit -claim deed for Watertown Road and Stubbs Bay Road <br />is required. <br />Peterson asked the Applicants if they were familiar with the Staff recommendations, in <br />particular, the right -of -way dedication and survey, and received confirmation of this. <br />There were no public comments. <br />Lindquist moved, Berg seconded, to recommend approval of Application #2076 with <br />conditions 1 -4 as noted. Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />( #2) #2078 JENSEN HOMES, INC., 405 TONKAWA ROAD - PRELIMINARY <br />SUBDIVISION - PUBLIC HEARING 7:40 -8:11 P.M. <br />The Certificate of Mailing and Affidavit of Publication were noted. <br />The Contractor, Mr. Jensen, was present. <br />is <br />
