w <br /> O <br /> 7 I <br /> O O <br /> b CITY of ORONO <br /> a � <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> NO. v <br /> �kESHOj <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) AND <br /> SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 9, <br /> FILE NO. 2658 <br /> WHEREAS,Timothy D.Landon and Amy E.Landon, (hereinafter"the applicants") <br /> are the owners of the property located at 1360 Vine Place within the City of Orono(hereinafter"the <br /> City") and legally described as follows: <br /> See Exhibit A <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B)to permit new residential construction on a lot that <br /> is 90 feet wide where 140 feet is required and Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 to permit an accessory <br /> structure on a lot without a principal structure. <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on January 17, 2001, at which time all persons desiring to be <br /> heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2658. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-IB Zoning District, where 4').560 s.f. or 1 acre is <br /> the minimum required lot area. The property consists of approximately 69,150 s.f. <br /> or 1.587 acres. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on January 17,2001 and <br /> recommended approval of the proposed variances based upon the following findings: <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br />
