As stated on your building permit <br /> #2012-00589, due to weather conditions, a temporary certificate of occupancy (TCO) may be issued <br /> with a $10,000 escrow to be held until the exterior grading and landscaping are finished. Before you <br /> are able to occupy the home, you must sign the attached TCO escrow agreement and return to the city. <br /> We currently hold a $2,500 escrow in conjunction with the building permit. A check for $7,500 is <br /> required to be submitted to bring the escrow total to $10,000 to be retained by the City. The City will <br /> hold the escrow until the as-built survey can be field verified by the City engineer and all inspections <br /> have passed. <br /> The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District holds a $5,000 escrow for wetland buffer establishment/ <br /> improvement so the City will not require any additional funds related to the wetland. <br /> Your builder, Steve Peters from Masterpiece Homes, indicated the additional $7,500 will be provided by <br /> the builder. The City policy is to refund all escrow funds to the property owner. <br /> Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
