Code requires 22"00" attic access;however,Orono Building Department staff feels that when there are no mechanical items or other reasons to access the attic,it is better to maintain the integrity of firewall. No action required. Access to plumbing,upstairs tub. Plumbing code requires an access to the tub trap only. If this has not be done, it must be installed. Grade is less than 6"below siding.
