MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETEING. <br /> Monday,MAY 13,2019 <br /> 7:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> Printup had nothing to report. <br /> Seals reported she received a text from the Long Lake Fire Department indicating that they made a <br /> donation to the Orono girls soccer organization. <br /> The Orono/Westonka blitz was held this past weekend and they made $25,000. Seals stated it was a nice <br /> kickoff for the community and a great boost to the soccer program. <br /> Walsh reported he attended the annual Lake Mayor meeting sponsored by Commissioner Jan Calliston. <br /> Updates were provided on the development going on around the different cities. Also discussed was the <br /> LMCD and who supported the legislation or did not sponsor the litigation. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br /> Mattick stated he had nothing to report. <br /> CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT,CONTINUED <br /> Rief stated the City has not received the testing back yet on the Navarre water and that he hopes to receive <br /> it tomorrow. A letter will be sent to the Navarre residents. So far the City has only heard from one <br /> resident. <br /> Johnson stated he would like to receive some more information on how many cases are being prosecuted <br /> for ordinance violations. <br /> Mattick stated he is aware of one case being farmed out due to conflicts, and if there is a desire to receive <br /> updates on various cases or the number of tickets issues,that is information the city prosecutor would <br /> have. <br /> Rief noted he did receive an update and that he can pass that information along. <br /> Walsh noted the City Council did request a yearly update at the time the city prosecutor was hired. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Printup moved, Seals seconded,to adjourn the meeting at 10:03 p.m. VOTE: Ayes 5,Nays 0. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Y <br /> Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh,Mayor <br /> Page 21 of 21 <br />
