Since they are replacing an existing wall, the <br /> walls can be placed within 5' of the property lines. The retaining wall on the north side of the home will need to be at a <br /> minimum of 2' off the property line. If any of the walls are going to exceed 4',the applicant will need to submit plans <br /> and specifications signed by a registered engineer.
