For heat recovery ventilators(HRV)and energy recovery ventila- <br /> tors(ERV)the average hourly ventilation capacity must be determined in consideration of any reduction of exhaust or out outdoor <br /> air intake,or both,for defrost or other equipment cycling. <br /> Continuous ventilation-A minimum of 50 percent of the total ventilation rate,but not less than 40 cfm,shall be provided,on a con- <br /> tinuous rate average for each one-hour period.
