Permit Overview
A permanent, non -multiple dock structure is approved as follows:
A straight dock with an overall footprint of 50 feet wide and no more than 100 feet in
length as it extends into the lake from the OHW mark (929.4ft). Length is in compliance
with LMCD Code Section 2.01.
Two boat storage units; however, additional watercraft may be allowed as prescribed by
LMCD Code.
Approximately 35 pilings; piling spacing varies from 4 to 8 feet. Some modifications
may be necessary at the time of installation.
The dock decking/structure does not exceed 8 feet in both length and width at any
location. The entire structure is expected to be no longer than 100 feet long to be in
compliance with LMCD Code Section 2.01.
A planned 15 -foot setback from the southern extended side site line and a setback greater
than 20 feet from the northern side site line. These setbacks in compliance with the
requirements found in LMCD Code Section 2.01. Setbacks also apply to storage of any
watercraft and other structures.
II. Site -Specific Permit Conditions
The approved permit is subject to the following:
The construction of the dock is subject to the approved site plan (dated 04/24/1997;
received 10/18/2017).
The location and storage of all watercraft, structures, and similar must not extend further
than 100 feet from the 929.4 shoreline, as shown in the site plan.
o For instance, overhang of the watercraft stored in both the canopy and proposed
boat lift will be limited since they may not extend beyond the 100 -foot linear
extension due to the curvature of the 929.4 contour and associated curvature of
the 100 -foot linear extension from the 929.4 contour.
III. Standard Permit Conditions
An as -built survey must be submitted upon completion of the dock installation.
1270 Wildhurst Trail Permanent Dock Permit
Page 1 of 2
