CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE CONCURRENT <br />DETACHMENT AND ANNEXATION OF LAND <br />WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. § 414.061 authorizes the concurrent detachment and annexation of <br />land; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono and the City of Wayzata have agreed to the concurrent <br />detachment and annexation of two parcels of property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />1. The land described on the attached Exhibit "A" shall be detached from Orono and <br />annexed to Wayzata. <br />2. This Resolution is contingent upon the City of Wayzata adopting a similar resolution <br />approving the aforementioned detachment and annexation and is further contingent <br />upon the approval of the chief administrative law judge of the State Office of <br />Administrative Hearings, Municipal Boundary Adjustment Unit. <br />3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the City of Wayzata. <br />Upon receipt of a similar resolution from the City of Wayzata, the City Clerk is further <br />directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the chief administrative law judge of <br />the State Office of Administrative Hearings, Municipal Boundary Adjustment Unit. <br />ADOPTED this 25th day of September, 2017 on a vote of _ ayes and _ nays by the City <br />Council of Orono, Minnesota. <br />ATTEST: <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk <br />1 <br />Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />
