General Information <br />SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is a full-service consulting firm with a broad <br />base of award-winning planning, landscape architecture, engineer- <br />ing, and design services. SRF was established in 1961 and is headquar- <br />ted in Plymouth offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Bismarck, and Fargo, <br />North Dakota; Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Omaha, Nebraska. We <br />employ 350 professionals who work with public and private sector clients acros! <br />the Midwest. <br />Although every community has unique needs, they often have many challenges in <br />common as well. These can include managing rapid growth, revitalizing neighbor- <br />hoods, and encouraging active transportation. Planning for the short- and long-term <br />future is an important part of responding to change.The creation of an area plan provides <br />the community with a framework that will help them guide future change to support their <br />long-term vision. SRF's approach to community planning integrates land use, transportation, <br />recreation, urban design and the environment, with an eye on safety,funding and implementa- <br />tion.
