MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />Monday, August 21, 2017 <br />6:30 o'clock p.m. <br />6. Comments from the Fire Chief shall be addressed. <br />7. Additional approvals include the following: <br />a. Variance from the wetland setback. <br />b. Variance of wetland buffer impact from the Watershed District. <br />C. Conditional Use Permit for filling in the floodplain. <br />d. Successful vacation of the existing driveway easement. <br />e. Successful realignment of an underground utility easement. <br />Landgraver stated to his recollection at the time of sketch plan review there was an issue with the view <br />easement. Landgraver asked whether that was regarding Lot 2. <br />Barnhart indicated it is. <br />Landgraver asked if the location of the house on Lot 1 complies with the side lot setback. <br />Barnhart stated the required setback is 10 feet and the plan is showing 16 feet. <br />Lemke asked where the existing house is. <br />Barnhart illustrated the location of Lots 1, 2, and 3 on the overhead as well as the existing home and <br />garage. <br />Lemke asked if the existing home would be set off from the proposed house. <br />Barnhart indicated it appears to be close to the property line but that he does not know what that distance <br />is. The proposed house shows a 16 -foot setback. <br />Thiesse asked if there are concerns with construction staging that would cause problems with the average <br />lakeshore setback. <br />Page 4 of 19 <br />
